IMPACT Scholars
SANO Health ARM remains actively engaged in communities, with academic centers, in healthcare, and in promoting health policy for the common good. We are grateful for The Doctors Company being a supporter of the work our organization continues to do to Impact Mentoring Providers Advocates and Communities Together. We honor students who have gone above and beyond to make an impact in their communities, State, and nation. IMPACT Scholarships supplement students traveling to present research, community-engagement events, and obtain costly medical student supplies.
2026 Scholars Call for Abstracts

Sponsored by:

We are thrilled to announce the SANO Health ARM Scholarship for medical students, residents, and fellows with a passion for advancing the fields of vascular surgery and cardiovascular disease management. This prestigious award offers a $700 scholarship, generously sponsored by The Doctor’s Company, to support attendance and participation at the 2026 NMA Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a special focus on the Drew Walker Symposium.
Applicants are invited to submit abstracts that present innovative research, clinical advances, or case studies related to vascular surgery and/or cardiovascular disease management. The scholarship aims to encourage emerging leaders in medicine to share their work, network with peers and experts, and contribute to the collective knowledge that shapes the future of healthcare.
This is a unique opportunity for aspiring professionals to gain recognition, enhance their educational experience, and make a meaningful impact within the medical community. We encourage all medical students, residents, fellows to apply and look forward to receiving abstracts that demonstrate originality, scientific rigor, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Abstracts may be submitted to: info@sanohealthcare.co
Submission dates: January 15, 2026 – February 28, 2026
Guidelines: Abstract must include a clear research strategy, hypothesis, methods, and conclusion. Clearly designate the presenter at the time of submission. The Surgical Section of the National Medical Association will be alerted of the top three abstracts at its second level review for acceptance. The winner will be announced after the second level review is completed.
Stay tuned for updates, and prepare to join us in San Juan for an inspiring gathering dedicated to innovation and leadership in vascular and cardiovascular medicine.
Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.
